A Partnership Rooted in Innovation
TPV Automotive, a key player in the automotive sector, has been delivering high-quality components to major car manufacturers, including BMW. Their commitment to innovation and excellence led them to partner with Inline3D. Since the beginning of this collaboration, TPV Automotive has implemented four Inline3D systems, significantly improving their production process.
The Beginning of a Successful Collaboration
The partnership between TPV Automotive and Inline3D began with a shared vision of enhancing production precision and efficiency. TPV Automotive recognised our potential of advanced machine vision systems to address the growing demands for quality and accuracy in the automotive industry. Our expertise in developing customisable, transparent, and fully adjustable systems made us the ideal partner for TPV Automotive’s ambitious projects.

Revolutionising BMW Production
One of the standout projects in this collaboration involves the production of components for BMW car Series 2. TPV Automotive required a solution that could handle the intricate and high-precision demands of BMW’s manufacturing standards, and we provided it.
The four Inline3D systems installed at TPV Automotive are equipped with high-resolution 6MP cameras, adjustable camera frames, and customisable measuring configurations. These features allow TPV Automotive to maintain stringent quality control standards, ensuring that every component meets BMW’s exacting requirements.
Achieving new heights with Inline3D
The collaboration with TPV Automotive represents a milestone in our mission to provide cutting-edge machine vision solutions. The success of our partnership lies in the transparency and customisability of Inline3D’s systems. Unlike many competitors, we offer systems that are not “black boxes.” Instead, we provide complete control to the customer, from camera position and lighting adjustments to measuring configurations and software updates.

Building Trust through Innovation
“Working with Inline3D has transformed our approach to quality control and precision in manufacturing. Their systems provides us with the flexibility we need to meet BMW’s high standards and ensure that every component we produce is of the highest quality. The support and training provided by Inline3D have also been invaluable in maximising the benefits of their technology.” says a representative from TPV Automotive.
For TPV Automotive, the integration of Inline3D’s systems has been a game-changer. Meeting assembly requirements and ensuring clearances to adjacent components for body and chassis components in vehicles, is essential for safety, functionality and aesthetics of the vehicle.
The assembly requirements define the way in which the different parts of the vehicle are attached, sealed, and connected, which must be coordinated with each other. Clearances from adjacent components provide room for movement, expansion, contraction, and vibration of vehicle components due to operation, temperature changes, stresses, and impacts. If the mounting requirements and offsets are inadequate, this may cause driving problems and damage to the vehicle or the vehicle’s conduits (wires, hoses, etc.) located inside the vehicle.

Building Trust through Innovation
The partnership between TPV Automotive and Inline3D showcases the transformative impact of advanced machine vision systems in automotive industry. By prioritising precision, transparency, and customisation, Inline3D has enabled TPV Automotive to achieve new heights in quality control and production efficiency, setting a new standard for the industry.
